When I am writing a novel, snippets of story, ideas for plot development, new characters, etc. just randomly pop into my head. Sometimes, I end up scribbling on a piece of toilet paper in the bathroom, sometimes it is a napkin at a restaurant, and sometimes they pop in while I am working on another project. They do not always make sense right away, they might be one word, they might be to check some obscure fact or they might a whole scene playing out behind my eyes. I thought I would share that process with you too.

Inside is a picture of all his victims, posed and forever dreaming. (This one came to me on the potty this morning! 🙂 )
